Three hours on the water (budget 4 hours with us). All equipment and transport from the village and return included. Paddle and safety instruction where required. Guiding and Interpretation of local geology and geography and the associated unique flora and fauna development of rainforests in the Westland National Park all presented in a fun and easy to digest way by our experienced guides.

Morning (9am meeting, 12.30pm return) for fantastic reflections on mirror-like water.
Afternoon/Evening for dramatic cloud formations and stunning sunsets. (Check for current meeting times which change as the days lengthen and shorten).

We set you up in the boats at the side of the lake, (including a hand-held radio to keep in contact with us and dry bags for your personal items), give paddle instruction and useful hints, suggestions and/or safety directions depending on your level of ability. You then go your own way on the lake for 3 hours and meet us back at the start point for transport back to the village.
