Calm is the key word to describe this time of day.
Placid waters lend to crystalline reflections and serene gliding across the lake.
It's easy paddling, no real fitness required and the water often mirrors the highest mountains of New Zealand as a backdrop to luxuriant examples of an ancient forest type somehow managed to succeed back into the area after a period of glaciation. We'll collect photos of you as you go though this pristine environment and give them to you on a CD-ROM after the trip.
