As a Guide (Morning:) Meet at 9.30 am our redbus office in the middle of franz josef, 20 Cron Street, Franz Josef village. Return approximately 12.30pm -1sh.

take your own transport and meet us at much photoghraphed jetty bay, state highway 6, just 7 kms north of the franz josef village.
Kayak Rental (up to 3 hours on the water - budget 4 hours with us).
With all equipment provided including dry bags and hand held radios plus paddle instruction and hints and safety directions depending on your level of ability, you can explore the lake for three hours, meeting us for transport back to the village.

Heli-hike paddle package (all day)
Begin with a scenic helicopter flight over all three icefalls of the Franz Josef Glacier with The Helicopter Line. After landing high on the glacier, Franz Joseph Glacier Guides will take you on a two hour guided trip. Back to the village to change equipment and for a refreshment break, then continue your New Zealand glacier adventure with Glacier Kayak's half day tour.
